Lucknow: Raising doubt over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s thought of a “cashless society”, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday pronounced that a Centre has not taken any beginning to apprise a farming race of a concept.

“You (Modi) should tell what preparations were finished for digital India? Who will learn cashless transaction? How will it strech villages? Youth competence be means to do it though what about others?,” Akhilesh pronounced during an eventuality here.

“We have given laptops in villages. Over one crore registration has been finished so distant for a smartphone scheme. You (PM) should tell what have we done? You should know that a supervision that gives pain to people does not survive,” he said.
