App That Monitors Your Driving

Most of costly cars has systems that monitors pushing and alerts in unsure and vulnerable situations. These systems are not integrated in comparison or reduction pricey vehicles. Spain’s University of Alcalá grown a app called DriveSafe that comes to help. It requires users to mountain their smartphone in front of the windshield.

The app uses smartphone’s accelerometer, GPS, and back camera to guard acceleration, braking, position within a lane, a demeanour in that a motorist approaches other vehicles from behind, pushing speed compared to a speed extent taken from online map services. It also provides real-time alerts in audio-visual format when it determines that vulnerable pushing is occurring. All videos are available with trustworthy map locations of those moments, that can be noticed afterwards.

The university is now looking for partners to assistance commercialize a technology.
