BJP floats new height for Northeast, Himanta Biswa Sarma done convenor

Guwahati: Himanta Biswa Sarma, a former Congressman who is seen as series dual in a new BJP supervision in Assam, was on Tuesday done convenor of a newly-floated North-East Democratic Alliance.

The new height of a BJP was shaped for growth of all northeastern states, hours after Sarbananda Sonowal was sworn-in as a 14th arch apportion of Assam.

Sarma, a former Tarun Gogoi help who quit Congress final year and was a pivotal strategist in BJP’s campaign, also took promise as apportion on Tuesday.
