Facebook has turn a supermassive black hole of mobile. It’s sucking each other business towards it, from publishers to tiny businesses to app developers. At this point, we ever figure out how to play good with Facebook, or blur into a void. That’s because TechCrunch is bringing Facebook’s ad potentate Andrew “Boz” Bosworth to Disrupt SF. He’s going to mangle down Facebook’s skeleton and how they’ll impact everybody else.
At a tip of my list of questions for Boz is how Facebook is doing a diminution in strech of a News Feed, and what that means for businesses who buy ads, and those who don’t.
Years ago, Facebook told businesses to buy ads enlivening people to Like their Pages in sequence to pronounce to them around News Feed. But that investment has been devalued as foe decreases organic feed reach. Now Pages are being strike adult for income again only to promulgate with fans they already paid for. we wish to know if Boz and Facebook consider that’s fair.
We’ll also debate:
Freebooting – How will Facebook understanding with Pages scratch other people’s videos and tell them as their own?
Compensating Creators – Will Facebook compensate tip artistic talent to share on the network?
News Publishers – Should news outlets give adult their attribute with fans to bucket faster in Facebook’s Instant Articles?
Virtual Reality – Do ads go in VR?
And a whole lot more. One good thing about Boz is that he’s dauntless enough, and has been during Facebook prolonged adequate (9 years) to indeed pronounce his mind. Get prepared for a…spirited review on theatre during Disrupt SF.
