Amazon Web Services (AWS) helps internal and informal governments, schools, and districts innovate by simplifying IT workloads that they onslaught with and count on each day, such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Content Management Systems (CMS), Open Data portals, training and training solutions, and more. All of these applications run on AWS and make it easier for governments and schools to broach services to their adults and students.

Through a City on a Cloud Innovation Challenge, we commend internal and informal governments, and private and open schools and districts as hubs of creation in three categories: Best Practices, Partners in Innovation, and Dream Big. Winners will receive AWS promotional credits to start or continue their projects.
