Indian batsman Suresh Raina currently came out in counterclaim of cricketers, observant that they have no purpose in mark fixing.

On a initial revisit to his in-law’s encampment Bamnauli alongwith his bride Priyanka, a newly married Raina was responding to questions on a new outcome by a Delhi justice discharging cricketers S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan in a 2013 IPL spot-fixing case.

“There is no purpose of cricketers in such matters and so these allegations do not have any demoralising outcome on them,” Raina told newspersons.

The new couple, that also took partial in special puja during a Nageshwar church in a village, also did not order out possibilities of his holding over a layer of a Indian side in future.

Raina had married Priyanka, a local of Bamnauli encampment in New Delhi recently.
