The ABVP won posts of president, vice-president, secretary and corner secretary defeating Congress-affiliated National Students’ Union of India (NSUI).

“CYSS’ efforts were cramped to banners only. They were unaware of belligerent realities. We will sojourn among a students throughout a year and perform a promises,” Awana, the newly-elected boss said.
“We did not cruise them (CYSS) a challenge, given they did not speak of genuine issues, they benefited us in a way,” he added.
