WASHINGTON (AP) — Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen “felt droughty during a finish of a prolonged debate underneath splendid lights” Thursday in Massachusetts and was seen by medical crew as a precaution, a Fed pronounced in a statement.
The Fed pronounced Yellen “felt excellent following and has continued with her report Thursday evening.”
Yellen, 69, was delivering a 23-page debate on acceleration during a University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Toward a finish of a speech, she paused twice for a duration of several seconds, staring down during her text.
She afterwards resumed vocalization and resolved a debate with a assembly applauding.
Yellen perceived a board from officials who afterwards helped her off a stage. The Fed pronounced that “as a precaution, she was seen by (emergency) staff on-site.”
