If we were looking brazen to seeing X-Men: Dark Phoenix this November, we are going to be disappointed. 20th Century Fox announced late Monday that they were relocating a few of their arriving releases around, and a latest installment in their mutant authorization is one of a films.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix was creatively set to open on Nov 2nd of this year, though now it’s not due to strike theaters until Feb 14 of 2019. This might not bode good for a movie, deliberation it went from entrance out during blockbuster season, to a month where films don’t customarily do as well. With a vicious disaster of a prior X-Men film, Apocalypse, Fox had a lot roving on Dark Phoenix. Another X-Men spin-off, The New Mutants was also moved.
The New Mutants was changed late final year from a 2018 recover to Feb 22, 2019. Now however it’s been bumped once again, this time to Aug 2. The film was set to deliver fear elements to a superhero franchise, though it has had several problems along a way. They are even formulation reshoots for a film that will deliver a new character.
And a film that advantages from all these changes? The Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody, that is now set to open on Nov 2nd.
