Jhabua (MP): At slightest 20 people were feared dead and as many harmed when a cooking gas cylinder exploded today during a grill in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
The blast took place around 8.30 AM in a building housing the grill situated in Petlawad town, about 60 kms from the district headquarters, A R Khan, a Sub Divisional Officer of Police during Petlawad, told PTI.
“Nearly 15-20 people are feared passed in a fumble and as many were injured,” he said.
Many others are suspected to be trapped in a debris, he said, adding that a accurate series of casualties will be famous once a waste is cleared.
The gas cylinder blast has caused repairs to a series of adjacent buildings, he said.
Senior officials from Jhabua have rushed to a spot. State Tribal Welfare Minister Antar Singh Arya is also approaching to strech a site soon.
