The Modi supervision on Thursday expelled a list of 98 cities that are going to be grown into intelligent cities.

There are about 12 crore people in a nation who will be a approach beneficiaries of a intelligent city project.

The sum race of these due 98 Smart Cities accounts for 35 percent of country’s sum civic race as per a 2011 census, Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu pronounced while releasing a list.

As per a form of a comparison cities, 35 cities and towns have a race between one and 5 lakh. There are 21 cities with race trimming between 5 and 10 lakh.

Twenty-five cities have race of above 10 lakh and next 25 lakh. A set of 5 cities are in a race operation of 25 to 50 lakhs.

Four cities – Chennai, Greater Hyderabad, Greater Mumbai and Ahmedabad – have race of about above 50 lakh each.

Out of 98 cities, 24 are collateral cities, another 24 are business and industrial centres, 18 are of informative and tourism importance, 5 are pier cities, and 3 being preparation and health caring hubs.
