Srinagar: Suspected militants tonight shot passed a shopkeeper in Sopore city of north Kashmir Baramulla district, military said.

The gunmen shot during and critically harmed Khursheed Ahmad Bhat inside his emporium during Bomai in Sopore, 52 kms from here, during around 8.00 pm, a military said.

The 35-year-old was rushed to a nearest sanatorium though was announced passed by doctors on arrival, a military said.

No belligerent outfit has claimed shortcoming for a murdering so far, that was second in this week in Sopore area.

On Tuesday, unclear gunmen shot passed a Tehreek e Hurriyat romantic in Sopore.
