The Ontario Mining Association, that represents some of a world’s heading resources companies handling in Ontario, is partnering with 3 Ontario universities: University of Toronto (Lassonde Institute of Mining), Queen’s University (Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining) and Laurentian University (Bharti School of Engineering), to solve an attention challenge, drawn from OMA member companies’ genuine life mining operation scenarios.

Individual undergraduates or teams from these schools will contest to offer a best judgment devise to residence a doubt acted in THIS CASE STUDY.

Participants are asked to contention proposal(s) to a MINED Expert Panel that formulated a problem. The row will name 3 finalists (one from any participating university). The finalists will be invited to representation their thought to a organisation of tip mining executives in front of a live assembly during a May 17, 2018 MINED Grand Finale.
