Mumbai: Varun Dhawan, who has been regularly questioned about replacing Salman Khan in Shuddhi, wonders who pronounced that he is stepping into a Dabangg star’s boots for a film.
“Never was it pronounced and never have we pronounced that we am replacing Salman bhai,” Varun told IANS here.
Earlier, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were ostensible to star in a movie, though after Salman Khan was roped in.
Then in May, writer Karan Johar announced Varun and Alia for a lead span in a film, that will be destined by Karan Malhotra.
Varun, who is pity a shade with Alia for a third time after Student Of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, says Shuddhi is really special for him and feels that doing this plan would be a “mammoth” task.
“Shuddhi as a film is really special… and is being oral about before a recover and that’s never happened with any film of mine. It’s going to be a huge charge for me,” a 28-year-old said.
As of now, Varun is now bustling compelling Remo D’Souza’s ABCD 2, that is releasing on Jun 19, and facilities Prabhudheva and Shraddha Kapoor.
