Indore: BJP on Thursday said antithesis to Yoga amounted to “anti-national” and “anti-social” acts and those who are formulating an nonessential debate over a issue cannot be good wishers of a country.

“Even Yoga has been supposed by United Nations and a antithesis is undisguised unfair. If someone doesn’t wish to do Yoga, he should go to nap during his house. But antithesis to Yoga amounts to anti-national and anti-social acts,” Madhya Pradesh BJP arch Nandkumar Singh Chauhan told reporters in Indore.

“World over it has been supposed that Yoga was a approach to healthy life. But a people who are antithetic to Yoga and raking adult an nonessential debate over it, are not having
a bounding with India and can’t be good wishers of a country,” he added.

To a poser, Chauhan said, “Yoga was not a domestic bulletin of BJP. With a United Nation’s adoption, it (Yoga) has turn a tellurian agenda.”

There was antithesis from some minority groups including a All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) opposite mandatory yoga classes in schools.
