Photographers, constraint behind-the-scenes during CERN

Cameras during a ready! CERN is teaming adult with 7 other vast production laboratories for an general print competition, the 2015 Global Physics Photowalk. On 25 and 26 September, photographers from around a universe will be given a event to take photographs behind a scenes during these prestigious laboratories.

At CERN, twenty photographers will be given a possibility to take partial in a competition, that will take place on 25 September. For a occasion, CERN will be opening a doors to 3 of a facilities: a new Linac 4 accelerator, that will shortly start provision beams to a Large Hadron Collider; CERN’s categorical workshop, where state-of-the-art technologies can be seen in use; and ISOLDE, that reserve beams to around fifty experiments any year. The photographers will also have a event to take shots of bland life on a CERN campus.

The best photos will be comparison by a internal jury and exhibited in 2016. Each laboratory will also select 3 photos to be entered for a general competition, that will run until a finish of a year. In this case, a winning photos will be comparison by a jury and a open vote. They will be exhibited in Asia, Europe and North America and will also be featured in a CERN Courier and Symmetry.
