On May 26, 1990, someone dressed adult as a jester with an orange wig and white face paint showed adult to 40-year-old Marlene Warren’s home in Wellington, Florida.
When Marlene answered a door, a jester handed her carnations and foil balloons, afterwards lifted a gun and shot her in a face. She died dual days later. After a shooting, investigators schooled that Warren had wanted to leave her husband, Michael, and was fearful that he’d kill her. She even told her mom that, “If anything happens to me, Mike finished it.”
She also believed he was carrying an affair, and she was right. Michael had been personally saying Sheila Keen (now Sheila Keen Warren), yet they both denied it during a time. The dual got married in Las Vegas 12 years after Marlene’s murder.
Though Sheila had been identified by a internal dress emporium as carrying bought a jester dress days before a shooting, investigators still didn’t have adequate justification to detain her behind then. The peddler who sole a specific forms of balloons a jester had even described a chairman who bought them as a lady with long, brownish-red hair — only like Sheila’s behind then.
Years upheld and a box went cold until it was reopened behind in 2014. After that, investigators found out that Sheila married Marlene’s widow in 2002. They arrested a now 54-year-old on Tuesday during her home in Abingdon, Virginia.
