Mumbai: Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was hospitalised for respiratory problems final Friday, will be liberated on Thursday as per a preference of his family members.
Kumar, 93, was certified to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra on 15 April.
Dr Jalil Parkar, who is attending to him along with other doctors, told PTI that Kumar will be liberated on Thursday.
“He is fine. The family has motionless that he (Dilip Kumar) should be liberated tomorrow around 10 am,” Parkar said.
Earlier in a day, Parkar had pronounced a actor will get liberated during 4 pm on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, luminary Aamir Khan met a thespian in a hospital.
Kumar’s wife, singer Saira Banu had progressing pronounced that a actor was hospitalised as he was pang from high fever, chest infection and respiratory problems.
The mythological actor, whose genuine name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan, acted in many superhit films during his six-decade prolonged career such as Madhumati, Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Ram Aur Shyam and Karma.
He was final seen on-screen in a film Qila in 1998.
He was celebrated with a Dadasaheb Phalke endowment in 1994 and a Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
