New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday targeted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance supervision during a Centre over women’s safety, doubt about allocation of Rs.2,000 crore Nirbhaya Fund for that purpose.
AAP personality Dilip Pandey in a press discussion alleged: “BJP is holding punish of a disaster in elections by compromising with reserve of women in Delhi.”
“Rs.2,000 crore account was allocated for women’s reserve after Nirbhaya box though nobody knows where that income has gone,” he said, adding that a Centre had betrothed to open 660 rape predicament centres opposite a nation though usually 36 were operational.
The celebration targeted Governor Najeeb Jung over deployment of 4,000 Home Guards in Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) buses.
