The United States had 341.1 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of healthy gas valid pot as of a finish of 2016, an boost of 5% from 2015, according to EIA’s recently released U.S. Crude Oil and Natural Gas Proved Reserves report. The share of healthy gas valid pot from shale compared with sum healthy gas increasing from 54% to 62% in 2016 since gas pot were combined in several shales, including a Wolfcamp, Marcellus, Eagle Ford, Utica, Woodford, and Haynesville shales.
Texas had a largest net boost in valid pot of wanton oil and franchise condensate of all states between 2015 and 2016, adding 941 million barrels of valid wanton oil and franchise condensate reserves, mostly from growth in a Permian Basin. Operators drilled and finished prolonged plane wells into a built oil-bearing formations of a Spraberry Trend and a Wolfcamp Shale. Between 2015 and 2016, U.S. prolongation of wanton oil and franchise condensate decreased by 6%.
